Isle of Wight County Marker, Z-272
One of the original shires formed in 1634. Its name was at first Warrascoyack, changed in 1637 to Isle of Wight. One of the oldest churches in the United States is in this county.

Physical Description of Location: Carrsville, VA 23315. Located on Carrsville Hwy (Hwy 58), 2.5 miles east of the junction of Carrsville Hwy (Hwy 58) and State Route 615. Marker is on the left when traveling east on Carrsville Hwy (Hwy 58).
