Brunswick County Marker, Z-38
Formed in 1720 from Prince George, Surry, and Isle of Wight. Named for the duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg, one of the possessions of George I who came to the throne of England in 1714.

Physical Description of Location: Brodnax, VA 23920. Located on Piney Pond Road (Hwy 58), 0.25 miles west of the intersection of Piney Pond Road (Hwy 58) and Tanner Town Road (Co Road 657). Marker is on the left when traveling west on Piney Pond Road (Hwy 58).
