Big Moccasin Gap Marker, K-15
In March, 1775, Daniel Boone made a road through this gap to Boonesboro, Kentucky. It followed the original Indian path and was known as the Wilderness Road. For a long time it was the main route to Kentucky from the East.

Physical Description of Location: Main Street (US 421 58 and 23), about .2 miles north of intersection with Hilton Road (US 58 and US 421), Weber City, VA 24290. Marker is on right when traveling north on US 421.
